Has anyone had this done? I read online that Salon 54 is the most experienced salon around here. I'll appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

I had it done by Noelle at Liz Michaels. For my hair (wavy), the results weren't worth the time, aggravation and money. I still need to use a flat iron to have my hair straight. If I air dry it, it looks better than it use to before being straightened, but not enough that I'm satisfied.

This is not what I wanted to hear. I had it done in NY 3 times and my hair is wash and go. I only style the bangs and ends if I don't want them straight.
Thanks for the info.

If you find a good place let me know. I'd love to have it actually work. I know Haircolorxperts in Cary and Salon Kroma also do it. Maybe the Matrix products were the problem.

I had a really bad experience at Salon 54. And their customer service was pretty bad, which made the whole situation even worse (the manager did not try to help at all). Good luck!

I got the Cary Monthly in the mail today and their was an advertisement for Hitto Salon. It's supposed to have "New York's best stylists" and uses quality Japanese products so I would guess they will offer Japanese straightening. I checked their website, but it wasn't up yet.

Samuel Cole-great salon, and they will be honest with you about the results. I wanted to try it because I have super curly hair, but very fine. My stylist said it was very doable, but I would probably have some breakage b/c my hair is fine. Many salons wont' tell you this up front! I recommend Jack, Erica, Britt, or Sara-they're all incredible. Jack is the owner.

I know this is an old conversation but has anyone else been to Hitto Salon? I am considering going there for a digital perm.
