All I've been thinking about is potato soup since I read this. We'll be having it tomorrow.

What is it about soup? I dunno.

It's been out of print for a long time now so online prices are pretty ridiculous. My aunt used to live in the town the Bakery Lane Soup Bowl restaurant was in so she gives everyone in my family a copy when they get married. It has the BEST soup recipes and also some pretty amazing desserts and bread recipes!
feel free to post the best ones...if it's out of print then it's pretty difficult to get!!

It seems radio station 99.5 has now flipped to all-Christmas music (at least today is the first day I've noticed it).

Yesterday I made sweet potato soup which was incredibly delicious. I posted the recipe on Recipe Forum. Tomorrow I will make my own beef broth from 5 lbs of beef bones to make French Onion Soup. i blame this thread for my cravings for soup....well that and this icky weather.

I noticed that today, too! Today must be the first day. This station and another one (I forget which one) used to switch the day after Halloween, so I guess this is progress.
