I stumbled across this place today while stopping at the body shop next door. They are only 4 miles from my house!
Has anyone heard anything about this place? They say that they will be opening in November, but in looking through the windows, they only have a concrete floor and that's it. They are still 2 months away from anything.
Looking forward to this, although we are already so spoiled in SW Wake with Carolina Brewing Co, Aviator, and another new brewpub on the way in Holly Springs.

Any news on how Mitch is coming along with the Holly Springs brewpub? I saw him 2 weekends ago at Big Boss, but didn't have the opportunity to talk to him about the project.
Are all of the brewpubs down here chains? Are any local (not corporate)-with GOOD food and kid-friendly?
I think that it runs about 50/50, but even the ones that are chains are local. The ones that come to mind are:
Natty Greenes: Local chain with 2 locations (Greensboro and Raleigh). I've taken my kids there and it was perfectly fine for kids.
Boylan Bridge: Good views of Raleigh. Patio would be great for kids.
Aviator: Has a tap house/restaurant that is separate from the brewery, but they do sell their own beer there. I've taken my kids there and they liked it.
Carolina Brewery: Local chain. One in Chapel Hill and one in Pittsboro.
Bull City Burgers: Just burgers, from what I remember, but very good ones.
Top of the Hill: Heven't been there in probably 5 years.
It's not too far from Wake Tech. I may stop in some time after class. It would be nice if they would list what beers they have in the brewery on their website though.
