I've looked up my polling place (Bedford) but can't find the time it opens. I want to vote first thing in the morning before work? Anybody know where I can find when this polling location opens?

I believe all polls in NC open at 6:30 am and close at 7:30.

I plan on queuing up at 6:30am as well. There's usually a short line at my local precinct first thing on election day.

Well, I got to the polls this morning at 6:20 and was greeted by a long line of others already waiting in the dark. Thankfully things ran smoothly once they opened and I was in and out in 45 minutes. Here is what the line looked like at the Bedford Polling Station at 7:15am this morning as I was leaving.

Wow. I voted at 7:30 this morning. I waited behind one person for my ballot. Plenty of activity in the polling place, but no lines.

wow - my precinct was busy & moving but no major lines. my husband & i waited behind 2 others to get our sheet to turn in for the ballot & then behind one person to get our ballots. in & out within about 15 minutes. i made sure to thank all the volunteers for their standing in the cold & their work on keeping things running smoothly inside!
