Wife and I have bought near Youngsville and need a good doctor. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I like Dr. Thomas Curtis currently with Family Practice of Wakefield Doctors He used to be at a Duke practice but most of that team switched to Rex.

The office is located near the Harris Teeter off of Forest Pines Drive so although it is a Raleigh address it isn't too far from Wake Forest or Youngsville.

Lots of folks here recently sent me to:

Dr Octavian Belcea - Wakefield Family Medicine

and I liked him a lot. I've only been once but my experience was great, and I'm sure he'll be great the next time, too. I'll send my wife and neighbor to him for referral.

I second Dr Curtis, unfortunately my company is switching to Aetna next year and the Rex system does not except, so I will need a new doctor. maybe I will look into Dr Belcea

Dr. Cefalu at Village Family Care in WF. Can't say enough good about him. He is the most thorough physician I have ever had. My entire family sees him and all agree that he's great. One of the things I like about him is that he is a thinker and will research every possible cause for what ails you rather than just giving you a prescription and sending you on your way. Most of the time he calls me personally with lab results and explains the results in great detail. After one visit with him you will know precisely why I brag about my doctor. I have seen other physicians in the practice and not so thrilled so be sure to ask for Dr. Cefalu.

I have very negative things to say about Village Family care. That was probably the worst practice I ever saw a doctor at. Im in Durham now and have found the best doctor. Village Family care NEVER followed up with me on anything, made me feel like a number and not a person.
