Is there a such thing as 4-day per week day care in this area? I've seen some drop-anytime daycares and some that have part time options but those are only 2 or 3 day and they are set.

I'm looking for a daycare in Apex or Cary that offers 4 day per week care (maybe sometimes 3 or 5?) and is flexible with which days each week we need them.

Does anyone know of any options?

Thanks for your help!!

If your childcare needs are changing week to week, it may be difficult to find something. Most daycares need to know how many staff they need to plan for, which is why part-time often set at 2 or 3 days/week. I can't imagine a full time nanny would be willing to go on a week to week schedule because of the uncertainty.

We use Bright Horizons in Cary (by SAS) and they were very nice about being flexible on days - I needed 2 days to start (Wed/Fri) with the option to add a 3rd day later, which would be a Thursday. And I can do drop off babysitting in his regular class on an off day for $12/hr or $60/day. They have been wonderful in accommodating me but we certainly pay a premium for that flexibility and even they go from 3 days a week to 5 days.
