Cracker Barrel would be GREAT (I LOVE their biscuits!) but wouldn't fit AT ALL IMHO with the Southpoint "vibe". I think the idea of a Denny's going there is a "fail". That just seems so dated. Maybe an IHOP.
I drove all around it today and think it might be going up without a tenant in mind. There is a banner is on the building that seems to indicate it might be available without saying "for rent".
I saw yesterday that they are putting in a Denny's near the Harris Teeter on 54 and 751. It's in the development next to Jimmy Johns, Smoothie King and Intrex.
Could do worse for a late night option if you ask me.
Is there enough parking over there? Denny's is like an Applebee's to me. Never going to go there. I haven't heard much about the Whichwich that also opened in the HT shopping area. Hoping the restaurant going in behind Bonefish is a higher caliber. There are lots of food choices in the Southpoint area, not many that are all that great.
