Usedtobe VaNC, you could stay at the Inn at Bingham School if you went to Saxy for overnight, but I don't think there are any other accommodations. That would be loverly, though. Saxy is also only 15min west of Carrboro so that might work for you.
although we have lived here for a year and a half already I feel like we haven't experienced much. I would love to try some new restaurants downtown, check out the duke gardens, make it to the beach this summer and meet some new people! I'm looking forward to 2013 since we are now fully settled in here!
I want to go to the art museum, the lemur center, and the tiger preserve. We might hit the art museum this afternoon. My kids just love art museums and we've gone to several in other cities but never went to the one here at home! I also want to try more restaurants in DT Raleigh.
Hopefully I can experience the joy of landing a finance job that will actually, you know pay me enough to remain here. More than likely though, the way it's looking, the only new thing I'll be experiencing in the Triangle is an exodus up north or back to the midwest
I plan to take more of the kind of field trips that interest me. I'm going over to the old Raleigh Speedway site very soon to kick up a little dirt to see what I can find.
....oh, and no more living so dangerously anymore. I started wearing my seatbelt Tuesday for the first time. It actually felt like I was wearing a straight jacket at first, but I'm starting to get the hang of it
