We are considering enrolling our son in either Hopewell Academy or Fletcher Academy next year (9th grade). I'd like to receive opinions of the schools and especially any information comparing/contrasting the 2 schools. Thanks!

Sorry I can't help the OP with his/her query but Meh, I'd like to better understand what constitutes a "new member." I'm still learning my way around this board. Thanks.

Anyone with less than 10 posts.

If I see someone who recently joined and has more than 10 posts and is making recs, I usually check their posting history to see if they've made lots of other recs that nobody noticed.

11 posts, with 8 being recs, hardly qualifies one as "not a new member".

Make sense? I just delete the recs and ask the member to DM me if they have questions.

You're welcome. Sometimes people create accounts to advertise. That's the logic behind the 10 post rule, nearest I can tell. New people on the local forums tend to start out asking questions, not offering guidance.
