I'm taking my son to the UNC/Wake Forest game tomorrow night and was wondering about parking. Anyone been to a game lately? I haven't gone in years. I saw there was a Park and Ride shuttle from the Friday Center and think that may be the way to go. I'm pretty sure it's going to be cold and my son has asthma. Any advice?

I always use the University Mall park and ride, but Im sure the Friday Center works just as smooth. Alittle chaotic after the game but the lines for the bus moves pretty quick.
Cant beat $5 round trip

We used the Friday Center shuttle going in and returning back for all kinds of events. No problems ever.

We have season tickets to the UNC games and we take the bus from the Friday Center. They drop you off right in front of the building and pick you up after the game. If you do take the bus, just make sure that you get in the right line after the game. If you decide not to take the bus, be aware that the closest non-parking pass parking is a few blocks away. And it will cost you the same as taking the bus. $10 (the bus is $5 per person round trip)

We've always parked in one of the ramps around the Hospital (Pittsboro (S) to Manning (E) ). Easy in and out and not a huge amount of traffic. But it is a little bit of a walk - perhaps 10 minutes (half a mile).

Another vote for the bus from the Friday Center. I always like to stay at the end of the game to hear the alma mater (even though I went to a different school in NY, go figure ), so I always end up waiting in a long line for the bus back. But still well worth it.
