I agree about keeping your options open. I wanted to go natural with my 1st, but I was open to drug if I needed them. I'm not going to put myself through unnecessary pain. I labored for 2 days and never dilated past 4cm. I was finally admitted to the hospital given pitocin and the contractions hurt terribly. I got an epidural, dilated 2 more cm and just stopped dilating. The epidural was a Godsend. I ended up having a c-section, and a healthy baby.

I had my boys at Rex and Big Wake. Rex was absolutely wonderful...Big Wake a nightmare. I totally agree with the previous posters. My c-section was hell and the staff was terrible. 95% of the staff lacked common courtesy. They do have the best Children's ER, but I would NEVER recommend their OB services.
