Hi Friends
I need and want to get my butt back in church.
I live in Wake Forest and looking for church in the area; working Sunday am's so need a Saturday night service.

I am guessing you aren't Catholic, so recommending St. Catherine's Saturday night 5pm Mass is probably not an option .

Awesome; I'm sure they would love to have you! That is a great parish and we would probably join if we lived closer. Non-Catholics are welcome at Mass, but cannot take communion. If you get in the priests line, you can cross your arms over your chest (like an "x" shape) and he will give you a blessing. Or you can just stay in your seat. My husband did both, depending on if we were on the priest's side or not, for months before he became Catholic... no one cares and no one will look at you funny .

The Summit Church has a North Raleigh campus that meets just south of 540 in the buildings across from Buffalo lanes - a short drive from WF. They are currently doing renovations and are meeting at the NRCA but will be moving back to the original spot within the next few weeks. The Summit Church is a wonderful church that has a vision of planting 1,000 new churches by 2050. It is a more contemporary church but if you are interested I'd love to answers any questions and give you more information. Here is a welcome link and info on the pastor as well:
