I second the Cary School of Music. My son takes violin and we are very impressed with the instructor. My other son will be starting piano in the fall.

My daughter goes here - Brooks Piano Studio - About Us

Highly recommend her. Not as close to downtown, but she offers one-on-one, personalized attention, and a very structured, formal way of teaching that I wanted for my daughter.

My daughter is also taking lessons from Catrina at Crouse Studio of Piano and Theory. She is no longer taking students for private lessons, but she has small groups and is a kind and patient teacher. My daughter has made amazing strides and just loves her.
