I have spent the last 2 days here in the area. We now know why it is so difficult for people to explain the area when you have never been here.
On realtor.com, we thought Knightdale was the cat's meow. The homes looked very nice and were soooooooo affordable.
We drove through and it was not for us.
We saw a bit of Clayton and liked it.
We LOVED Wake Forest.
We have not had enough time here to put a deposit on an apt. yet. We also know now that my husband really should have a job offer on the table before moving.
I am so glad that I invested the time and money to spend some time here.
Tomorrow, I face a 14 hour drive with my husband and 2 little kiddos.
Thanks again to southernpixie for all her help.

Glad you had a chance to see the Triangle for yourself. It's amazing how different the various towns look in person.

Glad your visit was fruitful! We used to make that 12 hour trip twice a year to visit family in Myrtle Beach (from NJ). Now its only 3 hours...yay!

I'm in Clayton if you need any help or local info, just holler!
Lauren
