Why won't mods do their job and delete this terrible topic
Just click the report post icon. Personal experience being that they usually get to it within an hour or so. They're volunteers so just give them a break.
haha I just wanted to throw some heat on the guy thinking we wanted to browse a copy and paste job of Cary's police blotter
I'm still not sure what the person was trying to say exactly
sorry
also when people in our community get involved with cops i think the, uh, more genteel route would be not to copy and paste their names on local forums. Lest someone do it to you.
We "volunteer" to moderate the forums. We do not get paid. We do not have specified hours of coverage. We do this for YOUR benefit, to help ensure the forums run smoothly and are beneficial to everyone. We do not sit at the computer all day reading every single post. If we do not see it, we do not know it is there. HOWEVER, there is a report post feature, which when used will send a notice to the forum moderators. When one of the moderators logs in, he/she will then see the notice and can then take care of it. Everyone who joins has to agree to the terms of service. I suggest reading them, as the answers to just about everything are in there.
BTW - The assigned moderator for this particular forum (not me) is most excellent! The Raleigh, Durham, Cary, C.H. forum is one of the busiest forums in the country. Imagine how much work it is to keep everything running smoothly.
Closing thread for obvious reasons.
