There is a Salvation Army Thrift Store on Tryon in Raleigh. I have never tried the 800# for pickups because we just always bring our stuff there directly.

I have heard tons of others in this area use the pick up service provided by the Vietnam Vets tho and have been happy there.

I went to the Salvation Army website and searched for a store by zip code and it said "No locations found for this zip code". I guess it's search radius doesn't go outside the zip code at all! I just googled the Tryon Rd address and someone didn't give it a very good review.
