Hey, is anyone else hearing or feeling the constant ground rumbling and vibration that has been happening lately? We are in Fuquay and it is driving us crazy today... it's actually giving me a headache if I'm outside for any amount of time.

And no, it isn't Fort Bragg... it's coming from the opposite direction. We are wondering if it's fracking that has started already. We looked at the fracking map and we aren't too far, but if we are hearing it where we are, then others have to be feeling it worse.

Thanks-

Definitely no Fracking here anytime soon. Like many years away.

I called FVPD and they said that there had been reports of blasting to build a sewer line...

Yes, I did. I googled 'rumbling in fuquay' and this was the first thing that showed up. It was rather validating to know I wasn't alone in noticing this nonsense (and in fact it's what gave me the courage to call the police to ask about it). It's not the first time I've noticed such rumbling, though it's the first day I've noticed it being quite so relentless.

It's Fort Bragg. There are threads on Facebook on both WRAL and Ft. Bragg's pages. It will last through March 29.

I went out to fortbraggpresscenter.com and nothing really jumped out at me. What exactly are they doing at Fort Bragg that's causing the rumbling? Thanks!
