Does anyone know where to get fresh polish kielbasa for Easter? Been craving this for some time now and would love to know if there is somewhere to buy it fresh and cook at home.

Both the ones listed stock a wide range of sausages. European Grocery gets theirs from NJ. Halgos used to get theirs from Chicago but I heard they recently switched to NJ vendors as well. One of the meat vendors at the State Farmers Market makes a good kielbasa that they make at their farm. I can't remember if it was MAE Farm or Rainbow Meadow.

Of course if you don't feel like cooking you can get some great kielbasa and pierogies at J. Betski's

J. Betski's has sold kielbasa through pre-order at holiday times in the past. Worth a call!

Have you checked whole foods? I know they have a bunch of different kinds of sausage there. All their sausages are nitrate free as well.

In case you don't find what you want, check out Bobak's in Chicago. They have an online store.
