Peak fest is in a few weeks in downtown Apex. I have heard mixed reviews on whether or not it is worth the time. Some people say they had a great time while others said it was overcrowded and nothing worthwhile there anyway. So I figured I would ask City Data's opinion. Anyone been? Did you have a good time?

I try to take the kids every year. It can be crowded, especially in the middle of the day. If you don't like crowds going early or towards the end will alleviate that issue somewhat. It's a smaller scale lazy days mixed in with local businesses, some town information and music. I've always enjoyed it, I rarely spend money outside of eating but did purchase something from an artist last year.

If you rarely get to Apex it's a good excuse to check out the town.

Lazy Daze gives me PTSD from the crush of people so if this is being described as anything akin to Lazy Daze I'll be staying far far away lol.

We went last year....it was SO packed I felt claustrophobic. The lines were about a mile long at the few food stands they had. We ended up eating pizza...
