In Chapel Hill I really like the mattress and futon store in Ramshead Plaza (across 15-501 from Eastgate). It's called The Better Sleep Store. They can deliver (which is what I did because I have a small car) or I'm pretty sure you can take it away right then. The Better Sleep Store
They're locally owned and super easy to work with.
Whew, that's better than finding "Spots available on Mattress"....
I agree that OMF is good. I did a LOT of research before I bought mine, and they were clearly the best value for a QUALITY mattress. I don't know if you can get one "on the spot" though.
