Steak in Cary or Downtown Raleigh (Ruth: houses, restaurant, farm)

Planning to take someone out for their birthday tomorrow and they want steak.
Ruth Chris is too expensive for this..
Need something with $20 or below entrees..

Farm House is really good. You are making me want to go there again soon.

For around 20 bucks for good steaks you can also try Firebirds. Good steaks for 20 bucks at a restaurant is hard to do though (that isn't a Chilli's, etc).

Sullivan's is downtown and they have good steaks but I'm not sure if you'll stay under the $20 range.

I had a really good steak at Carolina Ale House once but it was in Brier Creek. I even told the manager that I was SHOCKED it was so good!

I'll second Firebirds. Nice location, good service and good steaks. I'm a fan of their Aspen Sirloin cooked to a Medium Pittsburgh.

Outback Steakhouse has some steak selections under $20.

And I think Bonefish Grill does as well.

There is an outback in Cary. They have good steaks right around $20, maybe a few dollars more or less depending on what you choose
