I'm going to poke around and try to find out more about Larry's, but I suspect it's true as well.
It's been over a year since they announced it and there has been nothing going on over there.

OK, "my sources" are saying that as of a few weeks ago, the cupcake person is supposedly going into that location WITH Larry's. No word on Larry's pulling out.

That makes more sense.

Evidently their FB page answered a question about it and responded "we hope to, but it isn't certain yet". So, yeah, still up in the air I guess.

Ugh. I think that it'll be hard for an unknown to open there and compete with what's already around.

I wish Coffee and Crepes would open another location. I love that place, but having to navigate Crossroads to get it makes me less likely to go there.

They serve Larry's Beans, too.

I totally agree. I just don't go to Coffe and Creepes because I avoid Crossroads like the plague, but it is delicious!
A Joe Van Gogh would be nice too

I just hope whatever goes in there has evening hours. Coffee shop does me no good if its only open 9-5.

It would be nice if SOMETHING in DT Cary didn't close by 7 PM!

I drive by it every day and they still have the Larry Bean's sign in the window, but the place looks like it hasn't been touched, at least on the outside. Looks old and beat up...

Same here. I'd only go on weekends, most likely.
