I like the Cary store. Haven't had any problems there or at the TJ. That said, I don't shop there too often. I'm mostly at Kroger, which I love. Everyone is so nice.

I hate shopping at the Wade Avenue one. I'm probably one of those cranky folks in there if you ever see me because it is too crowded, and parking is terrible.

I like the Cary and N Raleigh ones better. There was a cute butcher (early -mid 20s) at the Cary location a year or so ago, so that improved the experience. I haven't seen him in a good year so I guess he found alternate employment.

I haven't noticed any issues. The aisles do seem narrow at WF's though.
Maybe it's the ITB folk at the Wade Ave store that are the problem?

It's probably because the Whole Foods in the area are ridiculously small and claustrophobic compared to other locations I've been to. No, they are not full size supermarkets like Harris Teeter, etc but the Cary and Wade Ave locations are very small compared to other locations I've been to out of state. The I discovered Earth Fare in Brier Creek -- much more spacious. I'm forced to go to these stores because nobody else seems to carry red kale.

+1. Some people just have to be "outraged" about something or they aren't happy these days...

This post made me laugh! Every time I go to WF, especially the one on Wade, I call my husband on the way home, in a huff, and ask "remind me again why I had to go there?" URGH....I've had so many rude encounters there...laughed at the "lack of sugar" comment! Glad to know I'm not alone on this! I'll stick to Harris Teeter, Kroger and even FL to avoid the snootiness! If they wanna pay 3 times more for the same product, let them, but they won't run into my heels w/o saying sorry....

This was the first thought that came to my mind (once I stopped chuckling over the sugar comment). The Wade Ave WF is so cramped and packed.

Maybe it's the pricing!?
