I'm just curious if there are any subdivisions that prohibit alcohol use at pools.

You would have to read all the signs posted at the pool to find your answer. Some do allow it, others don't.

Same here. Our neighborhood is actually having a couple of HOA sponsored parties this summer.

I was just curious. I don't think swimming and alcohol mix, just my opinion. I thought there might be an insurance issue as well.

As someone who has served on several swim club boards, whether it's permitted or not usually comes down to insurance. It's not permitted at our club even after a huge push from a large group of our membership. The board looked into it and it was just not feasible with the type of insurance we had. And the type of insurance required is different if it's an apartment versus neighborhood HOA club versus private club versus lifeguarded club versus clubhouse etc.

It's not prohibited at our HOA owned pool. Has never presented a problem with our liability insurance.
