There's probably a place down around Ft Bragg and Fayetteville, but I'm not sure off hand. I know there is a place near there in Raeford that offers the free flight experience of skydiving indoors in a vertical wind tunnel. Paraclete XP SkyVenture, LLC

There is currently a LivingSocial deal going on for the Triangle Skydiving Center - it might be a nice way to try it without breaking the bank.

There actually is a Living Social deal right now for Triangle Skydiving, it's $165 for 1 person tandem jump (normally $249.)

I see lots of skydivers when I drive near Fayetteville - often in groups of 80 to 100. Must be really popular there.
