It took us 27 whole days to sell our house!

all kidding aside...so glad thats over! It is tough keeping a picture perfect house 24/7 with 3 kids lol. It was getting worrisome creeping into November and the holidays. Wish I would of put it on the market a month sooner.

27? The Horror! It took a friend only 16....he closed on Friday.

Then again...there are a few homes in Wake Forest that have to be going on well over 100 days...so it's the same as it's ever been....

I wonder how the home inspection will go! Nothing like inspecting the home of an inspector! Makes for good conversation I bet!

Congrats! Good luck and may you have a speedy and smooth closing!

Very cool and congratulations!

I bet if the Chinese weren't manipulating the horrible RE market here in the Triangle, your house would have sold in 26 days!

Glad to hear that your sale is doing a LOT better than the average in terms of sales.

Since a Chinese, Saudi or Japanese investor will be the likely purchaser of the buyer's mortgage, it appears that the market is still supported by some foreigners.

I remember when folks laughed about any sort of correction in the triangle just a few months ago.

Wow...Dave...27 days!

This just adds to my theory...if a house is priced right...it should get at least one offer in 30 days!

I left a few obscure and more or less meaningless issues for the home inspector to find as a test. I want to see how good they are lol.
If the sale would of went on a few more weeks it may have been tough to sell until after the holidays. They got a decent deal, but only because I wasn't trying to play hardball over a few grand, my new house is almost finished.
Thanks for the the congrats!

Wow! That is impressive. I still see a few homes that have been on the MLS since February. (ugh, that's how long I have been looking, lol)
