There also might be a bit of a "minimum bid" thing going on. Do you need any other painting done?

we do need other painting done. ultimately I want to paint the whole interior. right now I would be happy with th esunroom and a powder room (this guy priced the powder room at $385! and it is so tiny) If the price was good right now I might do the living room also-- but I did not include it in this quote.

I know the owner of Hansell Painting personally, and they've got a great reputation - were even finalists in the Independent's Best of the Triangle competition. About as dependable as it gets.

Hansell Painting Co.

I've never hired painters to do my painting, but after using Sherwin Williams I am a firm believer in their product. I have used everything from Wal-mart brand to Behr before, but IMO Sherwin Williams goes on the smoothest and without any lines or differences in the color. we stocked up when they just had 30% off.

I'm looking for a painter for interior as well. I am a really great painter and have painted most of the interior of my home (I hired an interior painter once and it was a horrid experience and then learned to paint!). My problem is that I need a ceiling painted. It's about 800 square feet of ceiling. A ceiling I can't do! I tore my rotator cuff years ago, so any kind of above the head motion does not agree with my shoulder. The thing I'm worried about is hiring a painter to paint the ceiling and having paint specs all over the floors, kitchen cabinets, etc!

The company I hired to paint 3 bathrooms in the past got paint splatters everywhere. It was the sloppiest job ever and I had to repaint the bathrooms myself because it looked like a 5 yr old did it. I didn't call him back, because I didn't want him in my home again. It was my fault, I took the contractor with the lowest price. I have since learned, you get what you pay for.

I'm looking for someone exceptional to paint the ceiling!
