While it seems funny, in the article it says:

"He fears there may be retaliation, as the events tended to draw what MacArthur described as a rough crowd – one that had to be frisked and patted down before entering the mansion. As a result, he said that he and the other two families living in the yet-unfinished subdivision have armed themselves for protection"

That's 10 more than I'd be willing to pony up. That house is offensive.

Truth. Plus, there's the potential copperhead problem.

Look, I know you have to make money but can you do a little better? How about 15? It is a one of a kind house, it will look great in your neighborhood.

Your missing the investment potential here though. Just keep giving the neighbors free drinks and let them "investigate" the "hookah" room and you have north Raleigh's most profitable night spot.

No no no, you charge $500 for exclusive use of your driveway. Have a red carpet going from your driveway to the neighbor's yard.

Can someone explain how they got such a good deal on the house?
Paid $800K for it back in 2010 and trying to sell now for $3M?
Even for 2010 prices, it should be worth at least $2M.
