Many years ago when I lived in DC there was a place called the Insect Club. It was a restaurant bar that served regular food but also had various bugs on the menu like crickets and worms. There was a bowl of something like Chex Mix on each table that included bugs in it. Fun place. Fun times. Alas, it has closed down.
Maybe one day when all the cows, chickens, goats, bison, and sea creatures are long gone, I'll think about eating insects. Until then, I'll pass. Crawfish and shrimp are the closest thing to a bug I want to eat.
