Husband just got a job in Sanford. We want to live either in the Fuquay area or Pittsboro. Which will be a better drive as far as traffic goes?

They're probably both fine. I doubt traffic is that heavy either way. They're pretty different towns, though. You should pick based on that. If you were in Fuquay you would go into Raleigh for entertainment and big events. In Pittsboro you would be more likely to go into Chapel Hill and/or Durham. Pittsboro to Sanford (depending on the area of Sanford) is about 20-25 minutes. Not sure on Fuquay, but google maps is usually pretty accurate.

You might want to look at Apex and Holly Springs, too. It's a straight shot down Hwy 1 and traffic shouldn't be bad.
