Verdict: Good burger. Poor ambiance. Middling service, at best.
While I appreciate that the owner has hired (very friendly) local kids to staff the place, this leads to extremely long wait times for food and a general lack of efficiency in the kitchen. This place would greatly benefit from 2-3 hard working, on-point employees from south of the border, if you catch my drift.
No intend to offend, y'all, just telling it like it is. I will probably go back, but my wife and I were lamenting that the owner didn't take a page out of BurgerFi's playbook w/r/t decor, process and overall experience. (It's a shame, too, their burger is superior!)
Ate there yesterday finally and enjoyed it. Paid $15.00 for 2, quarter pound burgers with all the free toppings, 2 fries (which were plentiful) and 2 sodas. We were stuffed afterwards. Not sure what in the heck he ordered for $32.00.
We loved the burger and topping options, good customer service. The teens working there were friendly and clean cut. Ambiance is lacking but it's fine for what it is. It's a locally owned burger place, wasn't expecting much else. We didn't wait very long for our burger, 10 minutes tops. My only food complaint was that the fries were way too salty! Next time I'll ask for no seasoning.
We will be back.
Any latest updates? A buddy went there last night and was NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! Cost him and his wife $32 for dinner. He said he won't be going back.
I can't imagine what they ordered to spend $32 on dinner there. We've never had our bill surpass $20 and that's with two burgers, two sodas, and sometimes fries or banana pudding.
I have been there twice. I loved the burger taste. BUT the shredded lettuce is just wrong. Please change to big leaves of crispy romaine lettuce! To me, this is a big deal.
Also, as lamishra said ^^, the fries were too salty. I like salt, but the last batch I got there was so extreme I couldn't finish them. I think next time I'll request no salt.
But the lettuce thing....please change!
