Krogers on High House in Cary has an international staff as does the Grand Asia Market. My spouse's physician is from India. I've met county social workers in Durham who grew up in Kenya.

There are people from all over the world, working all over town. I suspect the key is skills and experience, rather than heritage.

I think you'll just need to look into job postings and before applying, maybe call the HR dept and ask. A pain, but job-hunting is a severe pain these days, even for natives.

Yeah that is going to be a lot more difficult. No harm in applying for jobs but don't be surprised when they're unwilling to sponsor.
