I browsed through previous posts and didn't find much information. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations for hardwood floor repair Raleigh/Cary/Apex area. There is about a 6x3ft area where the floor has risen (think of it like a mound) as opposed to typical cupping. The wood floor pushes down and creaks when you walk on it. We had an inspector take a look and he didn't see any type of rot or water damage underneath this area. They are Brazilian Cherry floors.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you had someone check the humidity levels under the flooring? Crowning a lot of times settle out when the humidity drops. I had some seriously cupping after a water heater leak, but after Carolina Restoration dried out my floors I noticed crowning issues while it's been humid but has been leveling out the past 2 days as the humidity level has dropped.

When we lived in Holly Springs, we used BD's Hardwood Floors. We were very happy with them!
