Laser Welding Repairs for Eye Glasses Frames (Durham, Cary: living, price)

Is there a company in Cary or the Triangle that repairs eye glasses frames with laser welding? It's a specialized process that is readily available by mail order, but I'm hoping that someone locally does the same work.

Don't know of any laser repair places (I've looked too), but in the end, turns out my titanium glasses didn't need to be laser welded, as I took my pair to Doug Riley's Eyeglass Repair in Durham. Doug is a pretty awesome guy, and it's very rare that he encounters a pair of glasses he can't fix. He'd let you know if he can't fix them beforehand. Just be prepared to listen to some good stories from his past.

Had one spot weld mine. Held for a few months. Take this as a wake up call: get yours fixed, then immediately make an appointment to get a new pair--you're living on borrowed time!
