Hello Everybody,

I'm planning on driving down to The Triangle to get the lay of the land. I have an opportunity to transfer within my company to the area and before I took that jump, I'm taking a visit to get a better feel of the overall area.

What areas would you advise that I visit for a younger professional crowd as far as Living(Apartment), Dining, Shopping, Fitness places you recommend?, Lounges or any hidden gems that you feel the area has to offer..I'll be there for a week, I'll be doing mock runs with traffic, ect and just getting a feel for the city.

Thanks for the help.

What city(ies) are you looking at exactly? There are quite a few of them that make up the Triangle and they are all spread out over multiple counties.

I actually have this same opputunity with my job and I would love to get some more feedback as well. I will coming to the Triangle, next weekend on a exploratory trip with one of my besties.

I will be staying in Raleigh, but traveling to Garner, Apex, and Durham...would love to know of what neighborhoods to check out and some great sights to get a feel for the place.

I am a AA female, 30, govt professional, and single.
