Must be at least 25 years old to make list. Feel free to add. Most of these places are worth trying. Amedeos, Clyde Coopers, Roast Grill, Char-Grill, Angus Barn, Watkins Grill, Andy's Pizza, Two Guys, Players Retreat, The Mecca, The Forks, Jerry's Grill, Piccola Italia, Boondini's Subs, Sadlacks, BBQ Lodge, Finch's, Red Dragon, Jade Garden, Snoopy's, Casa Carbone, 42nd Street, Crowley's(medlin drive), Simpsons, Bali Hai(sp), Mitch's Tavern. Only local joints make this list.
You pretty much summed them up: Bean Sprout, Nur Deli, Coney Island, Neomone, Cup-a-Joes, Jade Grden, Andy's Pizza, Ratskeller, Big Eds, Greenshields, Dalat, Dairy Castle, Baja Burrito, The Peddler, Serendipity Cafe, Snookers, Mac's Tavern, East Village and the Cantina. Some of these places are gone though . It's still fun to reminisce..
