The low for Friday night is 30, with a high of only 55. Saturday is not suppose to be much warmer, so probably this weekend.

I turned mine on yesterday afternoon although I had to force it since it was 69* but the house just felt damp and chilly. Got it warmed up and turned it down again. I guess we are going to need it this weekend.

One of the reasons we are thinking about returning to Florida, thought I missed the cooler temps. And the seasons, after 30 years in South Florida, but after totaling my truck this past winter on the ice, and the price to heat a 3000 sf home here with a heat pump, I will take paying for a/C over electric costs to heat our home anyday !
PS I am already in my sweats & socks, and BTW I was born and raised in NYC, guess getting older sucks lol

Not yet, we still have our windows open! But it might be time this weekend. If it get into the 30's at night, I'll turn it on.

Almost gave in this morning, but put on a sweatshirt. My teenage self would roll her eyes at me. Growing up, the thermostat was not to go above 69 degrees.

Oh, I'm a baby I turned it on a week or so ago when we had a cool night. I've alternated back and forth between heat and a/c. I know it's a little ridiculous!

I forgot to close the window last night, house got down to 59. My leader (wife) was not impressed.

With the windows all closed up, the house is maintaining 67-70 with no heat/AC.
