My family is new to the area and we are living in a rental in Wake Forest right now. We plan to rent for 6 months or longer until we can find a good neighborhood to live in where our children will be safe and there are good schools.
We are not sure about building or buying a home. We have travelled through some of the new home builder neighborhoods and are wondering if there is anyone on this message board who lives in one of them and has an opinion.
We are trying to stay in the $250K to $300K range.
