Thanks all for the help and the funny commentary I thought it was a joke too until I saw it being played. Will definitely look into Brier Creek area.

It is played in the gym at Brier Creek Community Center, but has been shut down until March when basketball is over.

I just thought of this thread when I saw an entry in the Chapel Hill news daybook section that pickleball will be happening at the Community Center through Parks & Rec.

If any readers would like to watch or play, please join us for Pickleball during the Christmas week in Raleigh. I promise you will have fun. I can't promise you will not become addicted!

Brier Creek Community Center (10810 Globe Rd., Raleigh, NC, 27623 (919) 420-2340) will be open the following times for Pickleball. Three courts available for play.

Monday, Dec 23 / 1-3pm
Thursday, Dec 26 / 12-1pm
Friday, Dec 27 / 1-3pm
Monday, Dec 30 / 12-1pm
Tuesday, Dec 31 / 12-1pm
