I would like some housing recommendations for the Raleigh/Cary area. I am 53 with a large dog and work from home in an art related field. Originally from metro-Detroit and now living in SWFL for the past two years. I detest the long hot humid summers here and welcome some chill. Not even worried about ice storms. I have been thru plenty. I will be renting in downtown Raleigh for 4 months and will look to purchase. Can I get in a nice neighborhood for 150k for 2 bedrooms and 2 baths? What do HOAs run? They are ridiculous here. Thanks.
