I know I've said it before but we cannot express the help we have found here!
We found ourselves considering a move from Orange County close to seven years ago and I was so fortunate to have found City-Data we have been so helped by the threads and information posted.

We have a question? "What does the forum say?" is a standard question in our household.

I just wish I was still posting pictures of New Light's Sally the Cow!

Again, thank you all for taking time out of your day to give us your feedback; hoping mine has been helpful as well.

Fondly,
Donna

We still love you too, Donna! Thanks for helping to make the C-D Triangle forum such a great resource.

I know, I know, I've said it so many times but I've lived here for over 40 years! And yet, I have found some really good restaurants and things to do by reading this forum! Places I had never heard of!

If I hear a news report, I come HERE to get the full story! Usually, I hear it here, first!

And lately, many of you are much more informative and less negative!!! That makes it nice for me to send my clients here too! So, thanks for that!

Vicki

Right back at you. We have a good community of people here that I'm proud to be a part of. This is truly what the internet was designed for.

Same here. I'll tell someone something, and they ask where I heard it: "The Raleigh-Durham forum" is what I say.

I got lots of good info here before we ever made our move to the area (2009)--it helped me locate our future (now) subdivision when I couldn't find it on any map.

I, too, miss Sally Cow. I keep thinking of sending "her" a card telling her how much we all miss seeing her ;-) Maybe one day I'll stop and get the mailbox # so I can send it.

I agree. I'm always talking about what this forum says about different things and give dh news that I've heard on here first. It's become a regular topic of conversation at our house.

Ditto, ditto and ditto!!
Been on C-D since considering a move here in January 2008 and still check threads daily!
I may not post as much but I am still finding out great info.
Still love the area and we will retire here!

I get more great information than I give. City-Data works out wonderfully. A great resource and I will continue to post my pics of the city.

Me too! I have lived in Raleigh then Cary for nearly 40 years and I look here nearly every day for news, recommendations, discussions. I've found this group to be more reliable than Angie's list when looking for a contractor or other service. Thanks everyone!
