If you are looking for single family homes, you might want to consider "Bridgewater" in Holly Springs. It is just south of Apex, but the prices are much lower than new construction in Apex, Cary, or Morrisville. Prices start at around 180K and up. From what I understand, on top of the great prices, they are offering some good incentives.

It will be hard enough to find quality existing homes for under $210k in Cary or Apex (which is sadly becoming like a miniature version of Cary), but there's pretty much no chance of finding anything new in that pricerange, even most new condos and townhomes in that area are higher than that. When we left almost a year ago, most new single family homes in Apex were selling for $320k+
