I know them mainly through mail order...in the days before internet shopping! (OHHhh...giving away my age on THAT one....lol!)
Worth a browse through if you ever are near one...but A Southern Seasons has pretty much everything they do.
lol No problem as I remember as a kid going with my parents to redeem S&H green stamps...now I'm dating my self! Now that was the days that milk and soda bottles were glass and gas for our cars was $ 0.27 9/10th a gallon! WOW

Do you remember the stand alone stores for the green stamps? My mother got an electric skillet once that I remember.
I don't really remember glass milk bottles, but I remember the 8 packs of glass pop bottles....and you returned the bottles to the store. Now you can buy pop in glass only at speciality stores....(Yes, there was a connection to at least part of the thread topic!!)

I've never heard of Southern Seasons. I may have to check them out. I used to live near a Dean and Deluca. I met friends there all the time for lunch, coffee, dinner, dessert, etc. The coffee was awesome. Both of the D&D's in Charlotte were always good spots to meet up with people. Is Southern Seasons the same? Or is it more of a shop/take out place? (Couldn't tell the atmosphere from the website.)

You HAVE to go to A Southern Season this month. It is amazing at Christmas time. It is here:
University Mall (broken link)
Speaking of Happy Happy Joy Joy what is your best place in the triangle to give you that holiday season cheer? Being there are so many new comers that visit this site, it would be most helpful to hear from native triangle members about the best areas in the triangle to catch that Holiday Spirit!! thanks!
