I think "expensive" is a relative term. For a tear-down in that area on a lot that size for a house that size, the price looks reasonable. On the up side, whenever people gripe about them being yuppies who live in a big house, they'll actually be living in a big house because the one they owned before, while a decent-sized place, it wasn't exactly huge for a SFH in a nicer neighborhood around here.
I admire their grift, though. All those internet viewings for "viral" videos (quotation marks intentional) actually turned into real cash. Good for them. If they could stop humble-bragging and acting like they have "street cred," I might actually watch their videos because they have adorable kids.
