Anyone know of organizations I can volunteer at around Raleigh? It's not court ordered or anything lol, I just kinda wanna help people. Soup kitchen, VA hospital, trash pockup, anything? Earlier today I google volunteering in raleigh NC and didn't find much of anything except girl scout troop leaders. Not my style lol
if you spend some time thinking about whatever societal problem that you'd like to help overcome, then you start googling that problem, then the organization(s) that are trying to overcome that problem will be easily found.

There's a local meetup group called Activate Good - sounds perfect!

The Y and BBBS are the two largest youth-centered non-profits in this region; but there are many, many smaller organizations as well.
