It's an upgrade still... that Web site looked horrible.

Saved four snakes from my dog so far. This is the first year she has decided to hunt snakes. So, stay out, copperheads.

This is the nastiest pollen in recent memory for me. I think because the worst days of it have either been immediately preceded or followed by rain events so it seems to be much more "sticky" than usual. Less clouds of dust in the air that grit your teeth which is refreshing but now it's just caked onto everything in a slimy/dried-booger fashion.

I hated that paywall they had on their old site. Glad to see that was gone.

Mike Maze got really bad news about his dog's health and I'm sitting here a blubbering mess. He LOVES that dog. It's just not fair or ok at all. So sad for him.

My wife just the other day was commenting on how much Mike loves his dog...and his mom. She follows Mike on Facebook and enjoys his photos.

I follow him there too - he seems great. This is so heartbreaking. His dog was found to have multiple tumors - seems pretty advanced.

The new park in DT Cary is really coming along, and change up the whole vibe already with the addition of the new fountain, most people I seen walking about since I moved here 3 years ago. I hate that the switch off the colors of the fountain though.

Now I wonder when the mix-use project is supposed to kick off as well as the new library and what are they going to do with the jones house, be great if some type of food spot can go there, it would be perfect, people could grab a bite and eat it at the park.

Wake County I believe starts construction on the new library this spring and it's slated to finish by the fall of 2018. There's also a new $9.35 four-level, 350-space parking deck that will be going up next door to it.

The deck will be nice as it'll provide ample parking for the library, park, and everything else in the area. I imagine it'll really boost development activity when it and the library open.
