Random thought on many minds today which makes it I suppose not random at all....'Florence'
The 5 W's as we were once taught in school:
Who: Florence
What: Hurricane
Where: Atlantic Ocean to North Carolina, possibly.
When: Thursday September 13 late night to 'when'-ever. Sorry 2 when's in there.
Why: Its Hurricane Season, they happen.
Now for the 4 P's:
Prepare: Food, fuel, batteries, candles, flashlight and battery powered radio, and charger for cell phones.
Provide: Help to all in need.
Protect: Your outdoor pets and property
Pray: Great time to have that conversation with the one above, he's waiting.....
...and it is that time of year again, while traveling on 40 onto Wade Ave, around 7:00 to 7:20 AM, and the sun is shining directly into your eyes! Slow down peeps and remember it is affecting of all the drivers at that moment.
I am amazed at the number of different ways the news media can find
ways to talk about the same hurricane stories over and over and over.
I wonder if anyone is actually watching them after the first hour?

I am from here, about 50 miles southwest of
Raleigh. Lived here my entire life. I turn it off after
the first hour or whenever they start repeating
themselves. I miss the old days before there was
non stop news and radar. Especially when it snows
because I always get depressed knowing the end
of the storm is near...
Our Raleigh trip due to the storm has been nice, but we're ready to go home now. It's going to be a long way back to Carolina Shores if I can find a way.
