Random thought of the the day does weave a web of epic proportions
this time of the year. We can rarely walk onto our decks and porches
without feeling there stray left behinds.....Spiders. How fitting as
Halloween is just around the corner. But this time of the year my yard
with the right sun light looks likes Herman Munster's Living Room. Such a
variety if 8 legged creatures. I guess its their last hew-raw before retreating
to where ever it is they retreat to in the winter time. Their webs are
spectacular feats of engineering and art. Knock the web down and hours later
its right back up again. I am no fan of the Spider but seeing how hard they work
to keep their pads icky is pretty cool. Happy Weekend.
I enjoy observing all of my house spiders, on the porch and in some windows.
We have an agreement:
Spider, I love you and I’ll let you be,
as long as you’re there, and not on me!
Happy weekend to all, hope those without power get it soon.
We were out for around 30 hours, but it came back on last night.
Thank you to the utility workers working around the clock for us!
My random thought of the day or better said,
my random thought(s) of 11 days is simply a
Fair one. Not in the Fair weather we have been
having here in the Triangle. Not in the Fair
amount of rain we have been seeing a.k.a.
Florence and Michael. Not even in the Fairest of
them all Snow white and her 7 dwarfs. Nope.
My Fair thought(s) is with the NC State Fair
going on in Raleigh. In fact I was fairly surprised
yesterday when going there after a few years
drought of not going that the parking was Fair,
the amount of people there in the morning was Fair,
and Bloom-in Onions were still Bloom-in! I guess the only
un-Fair part was having to leave to come home. So for
fabulous Fair Fun go to the NC State Fair.......PS I hope I
did Fairly well explaining my time at the Fair.
Permits and cost are two reasons I can think of off the top of my head
I would have loved to see it actually filmed in Durham instead of somewhere in Georgia. They dropped the ball ending the tax credits for the film industry.

Film credits are objectively bad it's a race to the bottom and none of the investments in credits actually build returns it's just constant payouts to film industry
makes more sense to recruit business that will leave roots in the state and investments
