Our swim meet got cancelled today just as the first group was ready to dive in. Bummer!

I love summer thunderstorms...when I'm at home!!!

I don't like when they make me change my plans!

Wouldn't it be nice if all rain and thunderstorms, in the summer, happened at 11 PM and ended at 6 AM?!!

Kids walked in from a short last school day and hollered "I'M BORED" as loud as they could.

A little 12 year old humor! I was not amused but they cracked themselves up.

How are y'all liking the weather?

It's finally starting to get nice and warm. I love it. Humid 80 degree nights are the best. I went for a run this afternoon and was in heaven! Looks like we might break 100 soon.

I like it fine. Went for a bike ride with the kids from noon to one today.

Nice! I used to hate having to go to bed as a kid in the summer time - it always seemed like it was still light out. I think my parents were just eager to get us out of their hair

We really need good rain. Yesterday was the first time in two years we've had to use the watering system.
