Went to Method Post Office in Raleigh Friday afternoon. Long line, one clerk. He said one of his co-workers was at a union meeting, another was teaching and a third has been calling in sick for the last two months. There were 13 people behind me when I finished and left. What gives?

...sounds like you went to the Post Office and had a normal experience.
There is nothing like leaving the house at 4:00 AM for a day of photography.
You shoot all day then at 9:00 PM you punch in the directions home and it's then
you realize you still have a five hour drive home... You finally get home and tell
yourself you'll never do that again... which is what you said the last 30 Saturdays.
